Slaves

Everything here runs on obedience, and obedience is duller than people expect. That is the test.

An online slave has it harder than one in the room. Nobody is standing over him. He has to do the thing at the time I said, in a house where he could easily not, and then report it honestly. Most people cannot manage that for a fortnight. The ones who can are the ones worth keeping.

Slave training is mostly small and repetitive. Report at a set hour. Ask before, not after. Do the boring task without making it a conversation. None of it is exciting on its own — and that is the point. Anyone can behave during a session. I want the Tuesday morning when nothing is happening.

Protocol gets treated like decoration. It is not. Fixed forms of address and fixed rules exist so there is no ambiguity about what state we are in. It saves everybody time, and it makes disobedience obvious the second it happens.

The good ones stop asking what they get out of it. That question answers itself once someone has been kept properly for a while — the structure is the reward, and taking it away is the only punishment I ever need.
