Expedited Pasports For Children

A person who intends to travel outside his country of citizenship will need a passport. This also applies to children. Irrespective of the mode of travel, air or land, the same principle applies. At times, it is possible for a parent to have overlooked the importance of the passport. This can still be rectified with the aid of expedited American pass ports for children.

Timetable

A passport takes four to six weeks from the time the application is submitted to receipt of same. If the international trip is urgent, the US Department of State also offers expedited services. These services will shorten the duration of processing and delivery to two weeks.

Expedited Service

The cost of an expedited passport differs from the standard cost. The variation in the price depends on the speed at which you want the passport. There are independent agencies that provide this service. They have the passport available within a day to 12 days. However, if the passport is not needed urgently, the cost of this service is low.

Government Licensing

Online and offline expediting services are available. Both providers need to get a license from the government in order to operate. This license should be the yardstick used to make a decision. For those that opt for an online agency, provide a valid email address along with other data that you present. This will be used to convey essential information to you. The offline service providers will require a contact phone number.

Payment

There are varieties of payment options. These are also subject to the agency you select. Online agencies provide the following options; PayPal, bank wire, e-check and credit card. The offline agencies accept credit/debit cards, money order, bank deposits and checks. You can then select the most appropriate option that suits you best.

Additional Charges

Asides from the government approved cost for a passport, the agency also charges for their service. Their charges might also come along with other services besides obtaining a passport. This occurs primarily when the agency is also laden with your traveling arrangements.

Parental Involvement

Irrespective of the agency that helps you obtain the child’s passport, the parents/ guardian will be involved in all steps of the application. Their roles include applying for the passport on behalf of the toddler, child or teen. They will also be responsible for all applicable fees. The laws currently require that all minors below the age of 15 have either parents or guardian present when the application is submitted.

Book or Card

When applying for infant pass port, you need to specify the nature of passport you want. There is the passport book and the passport card. With the passport book, a minor gets to travel by any means of transportation to any part of the world. The passport card is valid only for land and sea travels. This limits the travel destination to Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Bermuda. The fees applicable to each of the passports also vary.

How To Submit A US Pasport Application Correctly

When one needs to get travel documents outside of the US they have to get a passport through the United States pasport application. Every citizen must get their own passport for travel purposes regardless of their age, whether one is a grown up or underage. The application process for those who are under 16 is different, as is the process for those of the ages 16 and 17.

First Time Applicants

The following must apply for this document. One who is getting it for the first time. One who has one that was issued when they were under the age of sixteen. One whose passport has been stolen, is lost or has been damaged. One who has had a it for more than fifteen years, it is only valid for fifteen years. And finally one who has had a name change and they need to get all names in all documentations synchronized.

Citizenship

To validate the process one must have proof of being a citizen. It may be a naturalization document, a passport that is not damaged, or a birth certificate. For those who were born abroad it has to be a birth report from the respective country. If the agents receiving the documents find them unsatisfactory they have the ability to request for secondary evidence.

Witness

All forms should be filled out correctly, with the proper supporting documents. It is important, when applying in person, to not sign the document until there is a witness. By having a witness it proves that you are the one who filled out the application and are not falsifying federal documents.

Pictures

The form is submitted along with two in-color identical two by two inch photos. They are to be taken within six months of submission while wearing casual attire. The face of the applicant has to be in full view with an off white or white background. The distance from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head has to measure between an inch and an inch and three eighths. No kind of head gear can be worn for the picture. If one has a prescription for spectacles and a hearing aid they must have them on

Passport Agency

There are certain circumstances that allow for online United States pasport renewal application filing or through mail. This normally includes a renewal, or a passport name change. However, filing in person is a good way to go, this way you’re confident that all paperwork submitted was proper and you’re not missing information that could delay the process.

Expedited Pass Port For Newborn – Very Easy To Get

It used to be that a newborn baby was permitted to travel on the passport of one of their parents. Now, however, it is a requirement that every US citizen, including a newborn, have their own individual passport. When travelling within approximately two weeks, parents may apply for an expedited pasport for newborn. Parents can do this themselves or they may go through a specialized agent.

Requirements

Getting a passport for a newborn is not quite as straightforward as obtaining one for an adult. Proof of US citizenship of the baby is required. This is usually a certified copy of their birth certificate. Proof of parental consent is also a requirement. Parents need to complete a form, pay the fee, attach two photographs of the infant and include evidence of travel intent. The procedure is a little more involved if one of the parents is uncooperative or if they are absent altogether. There are five distinct levels of a child passport – Rush, Priority, Next Day, 24-Hour and Expedited. This latter category may take between eight days and two weeks to process. The completed passport is mailed directly to the child’s parent(s).

DS-11

Form DS-11 (Application for a American passport renewal), may be obtained from an Acceptance Facility or a passport agency. It is also available online, where it may be completed and then printed or it may be printed out and completed by hand. It is important that the form remain unsigned until instructed by a passport agent.

Submission

The passport will be valid for five years and it may not be renewed. The application needs to be submitted in person and the baby itself has to be there.

Photos

There are very stringent specifications for the child’s photographs. The baby must be looking directly at the camera against a white or an off-white background. Their head size must be no smaller than one inch and no larger than 1-3/8 inches. The photograph must be less than six months old when the application is submitted.

Photo Requirements

The expression on the baby’s face must be ‘natural’. This means they cannot be smiling, crying, laughing or screaming. They have to keep their mouth closed and must not be sucking on a pacifier. Only the baby can be visible in the photo and there must be no parental face, hands or arms. There must not even be a car seat. It may be quicker to engage the services of a commercial photographer with experience in taking passport photos for infants.

Citizenship

Proof of United States citizenship of the parents is also required. This may be a valid passport, certified birth certificate, Consular Report of Birth (Form DS-240), Certification of Report of Birth (Form DS-1350) or a naturalization certificate or a certificate of citizenship.

Alcoholism Dual Diagnosis Therapy

Individuals given an anxiety disorder and alcohol addiction dual diagnosis have a mental health problem at the root of their alcohol addiction. They drink to relieve their anxiety. Because overindulging makes their anxiety symptoms worse when they sober up, they repeatedly use alcohol in a vicious cycle. To be successful, treatment must address the anxiety disorder and the alcohol abuse simultaneously.

Social Phobia

Social phobia is one of the anxiety-related conditions most frequently linked to alcohol abuse. Also known as social anxiety disorder, it is an extreme fear of being embarrassed, negatively judged or humiliated in social situations. Sufferers may go out of their way to avoid contact with the general public. Social anxiety manifests in physical symptoms such as nausea, blushing, stammering, shaking, sweating and a rapid heartbeat.

Panic Disorder

Panic disorder is another anxiety problem commonly diagnosed in alcoholics. People with this condition are subject to sudden episodes of intense anxiety that can mimic a nervous breakdown or cardiac arrest. During a panic attack, individuals may experience chest pains, heart palpitations, rapid breathing, trembling and dizziness. They often feel as though they are about to pass out and may fear they are going to die.

PTSD

Alcohol abuse is also frequently seen in association with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). People may develop PTSD after experiencing a horrific event such as rape or series of traumatic episodes such as continuous combat in war. Symptoms of PTSD include agitation, sleeping problems, nightmares and flashbacks. Sufferers are constantly vigilant and over-sensitive to perceived threats. They find it difficult to handle the stress of the workplace or public situations.

Reasons For Abuse

Individuals suffering from anxiety disorders often turn to alcohol to lower their stress levels, calm their fears, relax their social inhibitions or numb their emotional pain. Because they use alcohol as a way of coping with anxiety, treatments focused exclusively on their alcohol addictions often fail. In a study of patients in alcohol dependence programs, those with anxiety disorders were found to be at the greatest risk of relapsing within four months.

Therapy

Many alcohol inpatient rehab facilities now offer therapies specifically aimed at anxiety disorder and alcoholism dual diagnosis patients. Inpatient programs typically begin with detoxification. Once this has been completed, specialists can more easily distinguish the symptoms of alcohol abuse from those caused by the anxiety disorder. They can then use a range of treatment options to address both of the patient’s issues.

12-Step Program

Methods based on a twelve-step program including peer support are often used to help patients overcome their addiction to alcohol. In addition, appropriate medication may be prescribed to alleviate symptoms of anxiety so patients no longer feel the need to self-medicate with alcohol. Cognitive-behavioral therapy can teach patients practical techniques for reducing social anxiety and panic attacks. Psychotherapy can help patients explore and overcome emotional conflicts.

Happy New Year everyone! If your New Year’s resolution was to catch a trophy largemouth bass then you are in the right place. Lake Fork is already ringing the New Year in with a bang as Andrew Watson caught the first ShareLunker Program fish of the year out of Lake Fork on December 27th. The fish weighed 13.51 pounds and sets the tone for what should be another incredible year of fishing in 2012. With water levels starting the year off at historically low marks it can give anglers a better opportunity to catch these giant bass condensed into certain areas of the lake. The fishing on Lake Fork will really start to heat up this month and into February for big pre spawn female bass. As these fish begin to develop their eggs and reach their peak weight of the year, it is a great opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime. Here are some pointers that will hopefully help you in pursuit of a new personal best or your own addition to TPWD’s ShareLunker Program.

The lake is about over 7 feet low right now. This is great for the fishing but treacherous for navigating the lake in some areas so be cautious out there. Water clarity is lightly stained in most areas. The water temperatures are remaining in the low to mid 50’s right now but that could change as the month progresses. It is not uncommon to find water temperatures dipping into the high 40’s if the winter becomes frigid. Water temperature is everything right now and it is important to have an accurate temperature gauge on your boat and monitor it throughout the day.

Main lake and secondary points leading into the major creeks are great areas to target this month. Again, water temperature is very important right now and you will want to target the warmest water available as this will be where the fish are generally most active. I usually concentrate on shallow grass beds in 2-6 foot of water but there is little grass right now with the low water. Do not let that discourage you from fishing these baits though. I found that these fish will still relate well to the bank and key on these same baits despite the lack of vegetation. The best baits to use in search of productive grass are moving baits. Red or chrome lipless crank baits are excellent choices. I like to use the 1/2 oz size in most situations but will often switch to a 1/4 or 3/4 oz size depending on the grass and water temperatures. I rig my lipless baits on the new Abu Garcia Villain 7’ Med Heavy action rod with a Revo MGX high speed 7:1 ratio reel spooled with 17-20 lb Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon line. Having the right rod/reel/ line combination is an essential. Making hundreds of casts a day will wear you out if you are not using the proper combination of equipment. The right equipment will also help you keep these baits in the strike zone longer. Lipless cranks are reaction bait and are most effective ripped off the blades of grass that the bait comes in contact with. The bass react most often after you rip the bait free from the grass. Developing a rhythm of retrieving the bait or a yo-yo type retrieve is very effective in drawing strikes from hungry pre-spawn bass. Other shallow running baits like the new Talon 1.5 crank bait or new suspending jerk baits are also great choices for targeting shallow grass beds. Shad or bream colors are great choices.

Creek channel areas in 8-14 foot of water are also a great place to target big female pre-spawn bass during the month of January. The big mamas are preparing for the spawn will be on a heavy crawfish diet. I like to use a 3/8 or 1/2 oz Talon jig in black/blue, Bama bug, or dark pb&j colors. I will tip these jigs with a Berkley Chigger Chunk in black/ blue or green pumpkin. A Texas rigged flipping tube, craw worm, or Berkley Power Lizard are also excellent choices for flipping. Make sure and target every tree lining the edge of the creek channel and fish as slow as possible. These big bass will be lethargic but will gladly accept your offering if they do not have to move far to get it.

The deep bite is best on jigging spoons and drop shot rigs. I use a plain old reliable Talon “t-spoon” in 3/8 or 1/2 oz sizes. On the drop shot a finesse worm like a Berkley Wacky Crawler or 4” Power Worm is the ticket. You can find fish on roadbeds, humps, ridges, and pond dams in 20-30 feet and deeper. I am running the new Lowrance HDS Gen2 electronics on the console and bow with Structure Scan on my new 2012 Ranger boat. Having great electronics is a huge advantage to locating these schools of deep fish and with these new graphs it makes it hard for the fish to hide. The deep bass are lethargic as well so fishing slow is important. You will often times have a hard time feeling a bite because they bite it so soft.
