A Short Background Of Pygmy Kayaks

Pygmy {{Kayaks}} are alreadyaround for a lengthy time, even {{kayaks}} have been around for a lengthy time but John Lockwood of Pygmy Boats Inc. has created history by uniquely allowing people to create their own {{kayaks}}. It makes you wonder how he got into this company. The beginning of these {{kayaks}} is often a strange one indeed. Because of an accident that put John Lockwood in clutches for eight years and his interest for kayaking; isn’t that wonderful?
So as it is told, Mr. Lockwood undertook studies computer science in the university and he was nicknamed “Pygmy” due to his love for the Pygmies on the African rain forests. He could possibly have worked with big name steel firms and corporate companies and actually he did. He quit his work in 1985 to dedicate one year building a program which entirely changed the face of steel building business. He was offered work from the good companies, naval and architectural sorts, in the United States and Australia but his love for kayaking couldn’t match up to that of these work offers.
It’s amazing what strong enthusiasm can do. One year after, John Lockwood sold his first kit, it was known as the Queen Charlotte Kayak kit. He made this in a garage! And yet again he had done magic and changed the face in the kayaking industries. This is simply because he created the very first pc made kit. All of this, he did by himself and even in 1991, John Lockwood had only a single employee.
However he still persevered. By 1994, he had created two much more kayak kits and one more as a present for his daughter. By then the Ospery series had began.
Now common Coho was produced in 1997 and Arctic Tern in 1998. Now right after much more than 22 years, John Lockwood’s enthusiasm for kayaking has developed so quite a few ranges and designs of Pygmy Kayak kits and every one of these can still be easily built by its buyers.
